Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Since soy wax is a renewable and natural resource, our candles are both eco-friendly and biodegradable. The clean burn also reduces the environmental impact compared to candles made from petroleum-based waxes.
“Hand-poured” signifies that each candle is individually crafted by hand. This process ensures a higher level of quality and attention to detail, resulting in a superior product compared to mass-produced candles.
We use a blend of high-quality fragrance oils and natural essential oils to create our unique and long-lasting scents. This combination provides a strong scent throw while maintaining the integrity of our non-toxic formula.
For the best results and a longer-lasting candle, always trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn. Do not burn the candle for more than four hours at a time, and always place it on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts.
To prevent tunneling (when the wax burns down the middle, leaving a ring of un-melted wax around the edges), it is crucial to let the candle burn for a long enough period on its first use. You should allow the wax pool to melt all the way to the edges of the jar.
Absolutely! The decorative glass jar can be easily cleaned and repurposed once the candle has finished. Simply remove any remaining wax and the wick to use it for storage, as a small vase, or for other creative projects.
A cotton wick is a braided wick made from 100% cotton fibers. We use a cotton wick because it offers a clean, steady, and consistent flame, which is essential for a high-quality candle burn.
Soy wax is a natural, biodegradable wax derived from soybeans. It’s a popular choice for candles because it burns cleaner and slower than traditional paraffin wax, resulting in a longer-lasting candle with less soot.
